Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Systmize ("we", "the service") is operated by its founder in Portugal. Contact: hello@systmize.net. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.

2. What Systmize does

Systmize helps you track recurring payments and subscriptions. You add subscriptions manually or forward receipt emails to your personal Systmize address; the service organizes them, shows spending totals, and provides AI-generated insights such as price-change alerts and alternative suggestions.

Systmize is an information tool. We do not initiate, modify, or cancel payments or contracts on your behalf. Guided cancellation provides instructions only — the cancellation itself is always performed by you with the provider.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• Only forward emails from mailboxes you own. Do not send us other people's data.
• You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@systmize.net; we delete your data within 48 hours.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Systmize offers a free tier and Systmize Premium, currently €11.99/month or €121.99/year. Premium is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play; their payment terms apply. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights under EU consumer law are unaffected; refunds are handled by the app stores under their policies.

Prices may change; existing subscribers are notified in advance and changes apply from the next billing period.

5. AI-generated content

Insights, price extraction, and alternative suggestions are generated by AI and may contain errors. Prices and offers of third-party services change constantly — always verify current pricing with the provider before making decisions. Systmize does not provide financial advice, and alternative suggestions are informational, not recommendations or endorsements.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or access other users' data, no automated scraping or bulk abuse of the email-parsing pipeline, no reverse engineering except where permitted by law.

7. Intellectual property

The Systmize app, brand, and content are our property. Your data remains yours: you grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you (processing forwarded receipts, storing your subscription list, generating your insights).

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for losses caused by inaccurate third-party pricing data, missed alerts, or decisions you take based on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under EU consumer protection rules.

9. Termination

You may stop using Systmize and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination your data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app or by email before they take effect. These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of your country of residence, and you may use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
